RIIIIIGHT because females only gain agency through male involvement.
The movie would quickly lose direction without a large male role.
I mean, it’s not like anything interesting has EVER happened to girls.
You also don’t want to name a film AFTER a female character because then how would it ever do well with both general audiences?
Honestly, you’re right. The film would turn into nothing but two hours of girls braiding each other’s hair and other girly things because that’s all those silly girls are ever capable of. Hahaha! Girls!
I can only hope that in someday in the future girls evolve to be interesting enough to have more expansive roles in films.
hey sheldon, what’s up?
the ceiling, of course
[extensively long laugh track, continuing on for minutes, breaking on hours. audience members are slowly dying of laughter, unable to stop. the actors want to cry out in grief for them to stop, but they are on set. it is a massive tragedy]
Omar Little - season one
The Wire - Season 2 Episode 11 - Bad Dreams
I may have started watching The Wire, even if I am like a decade late…
So far I’m in the second season and loving it, but then it’s from the same people who made Generation Kill, so what’s not to love <3.
I couldn’t help but have a soft spot for Ziggy. He’s an annoying fuck who’s in way over his head, and constantly jeopardizing jobs, and yet… Maybe it’s the having dreams of grandeur, until the the universe decides to smack you back into reality in a really bad way that I relate to…
He was so annoying but it was hard not to feel sorry for him.
Characters I love: Ziggy Sobotka, played by James Ransone (The Wire). He’s an annoying little fuck-up, but… His face.
I hated his character so much at the first half of the season but I cried for him when his life fell apart.
